When did you start playing wheelchair basketball?  August 2015

What part of wheelchair basketball do you enjoy most?  The fact that I can be on a competitive sports team where everyone understands what it’s like to have challenges and disabilities.

How would you describe yourself, in three words?  Loud, brave, supportive

What is your favorite pre-game song?  Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond (but only if everyone shouts the chorus along with me)

What are some of your hobbies?  Painting, reading, hanging with friends

What is your favorite movie?  The Princess Bride

What is your favorite book or literary work?  The Woldwalker Series by Jospehine Angelini (Trial by Fire, Firewalker, Witch’s Pyer)

What’s your favorite food?  Sushi

Who is your favorite college basketball team?  UNC Chapel Hill Women’s Basketball Team

Where were you born?  Walnut Creek, California (near San Francisco)

Where would you like to go for a dream vacation?  London, England

Who is your role model?  I’d say my friend Alyssa is my role model.  She has been through many more surgeries and set-backs than I have, and yet still faces every day with a smile.  She’s someone I can go to for guidance, and I know she will steer me in the right direction, even if it’s not one I want to go in.  I know she’ll always “have my back.”
